Training is delivered in the form of workshops, which range from two-hour presentations, one day workshops and a comprehensive four day workshop in a number of relevant areas which include: ·HIV and AIDS prevention ·Counselling and support for those living with HIV, AIDS ·HIV and AIDS policy development ·Organizational HIV and AIDS strategy development ·Comprehensive HIV and AIDS training (including workplace and community peer educators, educators, counsellors and shop stewards) ·HIV and AIDS policy development ·Behaviour intervention programs

After completing the training programme, participants will be able to: 1. Describe and explain the nature of HIV/AIDS; 2. Describe transmission routes; 3.
