As part of Skills Forwards Total Performance Management Solution: Job Profiling sessions are facilitated by Skills Forward Performance Consultants. During each session subject matter experts (people who know the role) will be assisted with creating a profile for their own jobs that set the requirements for measurement during performance reviews. Traditional job descriptions often list tasks against which you set targets and are measured during the performance management cycle. However, customers are not concerned with tasks and processes; they simply want quality outputs delivered with model behaviours and the right attitudes. Creating these job profiles will ensure that you are creating standards that matter. Once the job profile is created in the right way employees and team leaders will have a system that measures what is important for role success. I.e. your job profile becomes meaningful to you, your performance reviewer and the department or team in which you work. The process interacts with other people development processes including, training, career development and the skills development strategies.
